The USS Olympia

Launched in 1892, the Olympia is the only surviving vessel left from the Spanish American War.  She was Admiral Dewey's flagship and fought in Manila Bay. Olympia served until 1922 when she was decommissioned.  Today you can tour the Olympia  at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia.  To learn more about this fascinating ship and the museum where she currently resides use the links below.

The Brooklyn Bridge
