![]() |
Choose an activity that you know how to do very well and that you can easily supply the materials for |
![]() |
Do the activity, and write down the steps as you do it |
![]() |
Write up a set of directions that would allow someone who has never done your activity before to do it successfully |
![]() |
Test out your directions yourself and also on someone else (a friend of family member) |
![]() |
After testing your directions re-write or revise as necessary |
![]() |
Test them again if you need to |
Testing Your Directions For a Grade:
![]() |
Someone in class will be randomly selected to try out your directions |
![]() |
You will give your directions and the materials for your activity to your classmate |
![]() |
You will watch your classmate try to do your activity based on your directions without saying anything or giving any help at all |
Afterwards:
![]() |
Your classmate will give you written feedback about your directions |
![]() |
You may re-write or revise the directions based on how the trial went |
![]() |
You may ask to have another classmate retry your reworked directions and be evaluated again |
Note: you may re-do your directions as many times as you need to, so there is no reason that you cannot at least meet the standards for this assignment.
